Wocus is a traditional food source for the Indigenous people of the Klamath Basin area. Wocus is a water lily, harvested in late summer early fall. It was eaten a variety of ways, but frequently it was ground up and made into flour for the long winter months ahead.

Kaila is a young professional artist who works in a variety of mixed medium including oil and acrylic paint, pastel charcoal, intaglio and ink.
